NCO camp is one the happiest thing that ever happened to me.
I made TONS of friends. Especially Sylvia, Shueli, Atiqah, ShiJia, and boy/girl friend weiwen, and somemore others. The only bad thing about the camp is that it’s WAY tooo short. The band majors and drum majors had to march and march like nobody’s business under the sun. It was quite crapped up, cause it was too hot. We had ice breaker games on the first day, but I think it didn’t really break the ice. And I didn’t even talk to the people who were in my group. Except for Weitian, she’s damn lame. Then after the games, we had some basic drill. Quite boring. Then we tried the display band formation thing. It’s easy la, but it’s difficult to coordinate playing with counting. Hahaa. I was A11. quite slack, move only a few times. Hahaa. Okay then for the next few days we did about the same stuff. Weiwen said that I look like this girl from trombone. I was like HELL NO! but, quite a few people said that I DO look like her, but JO didn’t think so.. Hahaa. The food that we had there was not bad. Especially the noodles. Then everyday got fish nuggets or something close to it. Hahaa.. I miss the SQUATTER-days. We all used to sit along the corridor and eat, and stare at those gymnasts doing their stuff. Haha. there was once when we bluffed SOME people, I think Weiwen and joe that there were a lot of CHIOBUs in the gymnastic hall. Then when they look in, we pushed them inside. Hahah but actually there were many male macho gymnasts inside. Hahahaa. It was damn funny.
The people at the NCO are all quite friendly, but there are MANY ahlians. All damn flirty, hahaa. Mostly from WOODWIND sections. Quite turn-off lar. And there are people who look like other people. For eg, Shueli look like the TOM TOM guy from percussion who is quite pro lar, and also look like a trombone guy. Shueli also look like a hamster and naked mole. I look like the girl in trombone section, and a swimmer who won a competition. Sylvia look abit like SLY, and abit like ZHAO WEI. Wen Nan look like YAN XING SHU. And another guy look like TORO, but he’s the malay version. Aizat look abit like Taufik. Hahaa. Then there are some cute and funny people there also. Hahaa. Then on the last day, we had about 3 rehearsals, we nearly died. Then we had mass dance, which was SOO crapped up. Edric danced like some porn star. Damn scary. And the dances were all quite gay. Sylvia was soo pek haha. During the break we took photo with many different people. Me and Shueli took with our look-a-like. Sylvia took with her YAN XING SHU-guy. We also took with the cute percussion guy. Then we had break, and we went to change into our uniforms. Some 6 trumpeters went to the toilet at the track to bathe and change. So sway la. It rained, then we had to run in the rain back to the CCA branch. We were all quite wet. Haha. I prayed then the rain stopped soon after.=] And we were all happy cause we could SHOW OFF. Hahaa. Quite a lot of people turn up for the POP. Sammie, Char, Germ, Jieying, Ms Ten came to support. Hahaa. I was happy, very happy on that day. =P hehhahaa.
It’s been 2 days and I’m missing you already! I miss all the people. I made lots of good friends. I want a NCO-reunion or something. It’s really too damned short. If only there’s Part2 of this NCO camp. But guess not lar. Sigh. Miss the people, miss the squatter-days, miss the Sun, miss Mr Lawrence Siao, miss the trumpet section, miss the mud, miss the laughter, miss the display band, miss NCO! Well. I shall put it all behind me now. )=
