Work attachment… Stef and I had work attachment with world vision international. We did a lot of paper work. Quite tiring. Cos we had to insert data of the donors into the SIMMA programme. My favourite part of the work attachment is collecting the mails, and opening them up. And not forgetting LUNCH time. Stef and I go to different places to try out the food. 1st day we went with IRENE to some funny food center. We ate vegetable rice? Second day we ate at MODERN ART café. Quite a funky place, but the café stinks. Maybe it’s the smell of the joss sticks with the food. Bad combination.. I ate spaghetti while stef ate fish and chips. The fish and chips reminds me of the fish and chips at far east.. yummm. Then the rest of the days we ate at AMOY street, except for the last day. We ate at HAN’S. susan treated us. Both of us ate black pepper chicken chop or sth lidat. Can’t remember. Opening mails rock. It’s fun cause we’re able to see the pictures of the donors, and the cheesy lines that they write to their children. Some people didn’t write anything in the X’mas cards at all.. so stef and I had to fill the space.. World Vision had this christmas high tea session with the donors at York Hotel. They sell accessories which were donated by 77th street. The things that they sell were relatively OLD. Must be some leftover stock. Stef and I had to tag the prices onto the accessories. It was quite fun cause we were decorating the tags. Stef drew mini banners for the session. While I continued to tag the items. Oh ya I nearly forgot. The 3rd thing that we like to do is to FRANK the mails. Hahahaaa. But sadly we only did it once- on the last day. The people at world vision are funny. Esp Irene. She laugh like a hyena. In fact, ALL the people there laugh funny. Lynette also. Lynette is from my church.. hahaa. Then Stella laughs funny too. when they laugh, stef and I crack up. Hahaa. Oh ya and they gossip a lot. The toilet in the office is creepy. It’s quite dark and the doors creak when we try to close them. Hmmmmm… on the last day. Stef and I took photo with Irene, Susan, Stella, Lynette, Mei Ying and the BOSS-man. The photos are quite nice. Except for the one that we took with the boss. He’s quite a QUIET man I guess. Ahahaa. Irene and the rest were laughin when we were talking a shot with their boss. Hmmm funny people I enjoyed myself there. 9 days is actually quite short. So we’re gonna go back to volunteer. hahaha CIP hours! On the last day, we took 6 love loaves. And we agreed to help design tee shirts for world vision. Hahaaa. Cooool. Okay, I’m kinda looking forward to goin there to help out again.. ahahahaa. SAVE the CHILDREN.! (=
